I’ve teamed up with Trails and Roots and we’re hosting a retreat in Chamonix, France in July 2024. Come run on epic trails (even parts of the UTMB course), get personalized and group nutrition coaching, access to a personal physical therapist, enjoy energizing and nourishing plant centered meals cooked by our personal chef, and get to experience life in the Chamonix valley, aka the world’s trail running hub.

In the beautiful Chamonix Valley in France. The chalet is located a few minutes outside of Chamonix in Les Houches.

• Transport to and from Chamonix/the Chalet
• Dinner on one day (to allow the participants the opportunity to enjoy the cuisine on offer in Chamonix)
• Running nutrition during runs
• Travel insurance (mandatory for participation)
• Additional transport the participants may take during camp (eg. Taxis, ski-lifts/gondolas)
• Alcohol and additional food/drinks consumed that is outside of the daily breakfast, lunch and
dinner provided
• Any additional activities that are not included in the Trail Camp itinerary  (paragliding, rock climbing, via ferreta, etc.)

Our trail running routes have been designed to give you a 360° view of the whole valley, allowing them to experience different terrains, see natural attractions and appreciate the beauty of Mont Blanc from various viewpoints.

As part of our routes, you’ll can have the opportunity to experience:

  • Mer de Glace – the largest glacier in France
  • Lac Blanc – a pristine, picturesque high-altitude glacier lake
  • A swim/cold plunge in the icy Arve River!
  • The Chamonix VK (Vertical Kilometre) – 1,000m of zig-zag climb in just 3.8km!
  • Segments of the UTMB course
 
Each run will be lead by our professional trail running guides. On many of the routes there are opportunities to adjust the length because gondolas are common.

This camp should not be overly strenuous for people who are healthy, reasonably fit and comfortable spending 4-6 hours on the trails. Participants are expected to carry their own gear and supplies on the trail (water, fuel, basic emergency equipment and additional clothes). If you are affected by any condition, medical or otherwise, that might affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the trip, you must advise us of this at the time of booking. If your health or fitness changes between the time of booking and the trip departure date, you must notify us of these changes as soon as possible.
